How Biohazards are Disposed

Crime scene cleaners play a crucial role in safely and efficiently disposing of biohazards during their rigorous cleanup processes.

When faced with biohazardous materials, such as blood, bodily fluids, or other potentially infectious substances, we meticulously follow established protocols. In order to ensure thorough disinfection and decontamination, crime scene cleaners often need to remove carpets and furniture from the premises. This is done to eliminate any lingering traces of biohazardous substances that may have seeped into porous materials or crevices. The biohazards are - most of the time - incinerated.

In some cases, the family who requires our services may want to keep some items of clothing that were exposed to biohazard material. In this instance we would have them sign a document stating they understand it contains biohazard and they’re accepting it in its condition.

By carefully extracting and properly disposing of these items, crime scene cleaners prevent the spread of pathogens, ensuring a safe and restored environment for occupant's peace of mind.
